		<description>Thank you so much. I always wanted to know what those extra pixels are for. I had solved the problem by adding vertical-align:bottom to img tag. It works but doesn&#039;t make sense. I still wanna know why it works.

@BVasdWmx: your solution is not good because if you increase the font size then the extra pixels will be more than 3 pixels accordingly. so if you don&#039;t want to use the display:block solution use vertical-align:bottom for img tags which has no side effects.</description>
