I've had the same experience with Citibank credit card. They raised my interest rate from 3.99
to 18.99%. I stopped paying and they keep calling to ask for payment. The funny thing is that everytime they ca
everytime they call always mention the fact that I have a great payment history, ok so why in
the world you raise the interest? Makes no sense to me. When the rate was 3.99 they were
getting my money now the rate is 18.99 but they are NOT getting my money....I guess it makes
sense to somebody...

I agree 100%, but it doesn't change the fact that if a business is dicking around its best customers, it deserves to go out of business. Just like the Big 3 deserve to go out of business because they make shitty cars that no one wants to buy.

Stay debt free, don't get any credit cards, have an emergency fund and guess what? None of this stuff would matter at all!
For all I care they raise ALL credit cards to 99.99%, it will never affect me ;o)
And for those who think you need a credit card to get something, here's a tip: If you don't have the money in cash for it, you simply cannot afford it!
